Personal fame, money, friends. Just a lame programmer who loves to code. The myspace layout stealer comes as is i.e., it's free, gratis, a labor of love—no advertising, no pop-ups, no registration and none of the other annoyances less generous people count on to make money. My only goal is to allow as many as possible to experience this site. If anyone has an idea or has noticed a problem while using this myspace generator then please leave a comment. I’ll promptly look into it, as this generator is constantly being improved.

[ Myspace Flash Layouts ] Generator Updates in Progress

Myspace Flash layouts seem to be on the rise, we are currently tweaking our layout stealer generator for this. You should be made aware of the fact that whatever is encoded in flash will remain that way. Any customizations that user has made for their profile will also be displayed on yours. We can grab the code and you will indeed get an identical copy. But, some items cannot be changed, just so you're aware of this fact. I only suggest stealing flash layouts if the myspace profile belongs to you and you cannot get a copy of the code another way. This tweak is in progress and I'll post another notification when the update is complete.

P.S. This update only applies to flash layouts; traditional myspace CSS layouts (95% of the profiles on myspace) are not affected by this.

Preserving the Myspace Layout You Want

How many of you have seen the perfect profile on someone else's myspace page and used a layout stealer to grab it? How pissed off did you get when you inserted the css code and right before your eyes, in bold 18 point font letters read "I TOOK THIS LAYOUT FROM XYZ.COM" What is this supposed to mean? It wasn’t on the original layout you wanted...right?

Nothing seems to surprise me about other webmasters who do everything possible to squeeze out a few more hits. They profit from your free advertisement and you’re stuck weeding through code looking for this annoyance. Your myspace layout now looks like garbage because some tiptoe made no consideration of the viewers whom utilize their services.

Nobody likes this and we do everything possible to preserve the layout you want. Nothing is added to the CSS and we don't place big banners on your new layout. It's yours and far as everyone knows you simply grabbed a layout from some generic MySpace "CMS" website. Our goal is simply that, we give you what you want and nothing more.

Layout stealer skepticism...

After reviewing some past comments about myspace layout stealers and their flaws
in the ability to steal a layout identical to the original...I say that's totally wrong, this is why.

If the layout was designed properly and the myspace account holder posted non CSS content outside the tags; then yes you can steal an identical copy of that cool looking layout. What users must understand is that so many variables play into effect when attempting to steal a layout. You will find some myspacers jam pack their page with hundreds of "cool" looking CSS hacks. This can conflict with layout stealers since a layout stealer searches the profile thinking the code is well kept and error free.

I will admit flash layouts (interactive movie layouts) can be difficult to steal because most myspace
layout stealers simply grab the CSS overlay and skip all other tags. At the current moment we do not
support strictly flash layouts. We are working on this and maybe in the future we will.

As far as quality goes, I assure you that it makes no difference if you are stealing a layout or grabbing
the CSS code from a social networking website. Layout stealers extract the CSS code which is what you
download from these sites. You're not making human clones, your grabbing an identical copy, which if the
profile has little or no flaws, it will indeed look the same.
